  1. I've been away from blogland so long, and I'm so thrilled to get back and rediscover lovely blogs! Yours is looking spectacular!! I love your header, and this pretty pink damask is just divine!

I love your idea for the giveaway as this last summer was the absolute best of my life...I got married! Aside from the obviously priceless moments when we said our vows, I would have to say my favorite memory of the summer comes from our honeymoon in Disneyland:

I'm very shy and my hubby is not...while out hunting me down my morning coffee he struck up a conversation with a portrait painter at a kiosk. We went to her for a couples portrait and (as Jon had told me) she was a total kindred spirit...we chatted away like long lost friends. The next night we met for dinner, the next she had us to her home where she pulled me aside and whispered that she was going to do a painting of us and that we weren't allowed to pay her because she wanted it to be a wedding gift! A few months later we received the most beautiful work of art from her, and Bonnie and I are now fast friends, separated only by a matter of two countries!

    xoxo
